Summary

Axcient is seeking a talented and driven technical sales professional to join our team. As a Technical Account Manager focused exclusively on Strategic Partnerships, you will play a critical role in delivering on the company’s strategic partnerships and our mutual managed service provider (MSP) partners. You will work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team responsible for executing on our technical go-to-market strategy between strategic partner and the MSP. This is a complex role that involves understanding and managing many elements both internal to Axcient, with the strategic partner, and at the MSP-level of the business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments across Axcient, including Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Support, and Development. The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships, possess superb oral and written communication skills, very strong technical experience, and demonstrate a comprehensive ability to drive ‘big picture’ goals while at the same time satisfying smaller, partner-level daily requirements.

 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Develop a deep and continuing understanding of Axcient technology, solutions, and services
  • Understand and implement the Axcient sales model to deliver clear and predictable results.
  • Provide technical account management, technical advisory, and relationship oversight for strategic partners and our mutual managed service providers (MSPs) from individual contributors to senior leadership levels.
  • Skillfully navigate customers through demonstration and implementation of Axcient solutions. This will include technical demonstrations, trial/POC assistance, technical troubleshooting, and trainings.
  • As a problem solver, you will have strong tactical skills to recognize and resolve business, solution, and technical challenges as you help our partners realize their business objectives pertaining to our solutions.
  • Represent Axcient at partner events, joint marketing events and conferences, and other field activities including partner on-site visits. Travel up to 15%.

Who You Are
  • 8+ years of business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) storage backup, or similar, technical industry experience working as a TAM or in a related technical area such as in Sales Engineering, Implementation, Technical Support, or Solutions Architecture serving MSPs.
  • Ability to practically apply your technical and account management skills towards technical demonstrations, collaborative troubleshooting, and overall a wide range of technical account management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to take complex technical concepts and translate them to a range of stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically about the bigger needs of the account environment while also able to satisfy partner-level daily needs
  • Accurately translate high-level customer requirements into success criteria

The estimated salary range for this position is : from $140,000-160,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
